Bjarne Jorsal is a true aviator in every sense of the word. His experience as a pilot consists of more than 6000 hours of flight time in countless types of aircraft, since obtaining his pilot’s license in 1987. He has primarily accumulated his hours flying Piper Cheyenne, King Air 200, and the Piper M500, M600, and M700 Fury.
Bjarne has done numerous transatlantic crossings in both single- and twin-engine aircraft and still flies more than 120 hours every year.
Having been involved in close to 1000 aircraft transactions since 1988, Bjarne has bought, sold, and brokered everything from Piper Aircraft, Cessna single-engines, and Pilatus PC-12’s, to Citation jets, Bombardier Learjets, Challengers, and Globals, Falcon jets, and helicopters from manufacturers like Bell, Airbus, and Robinson.
Since 1995 Bjarne has worked closely with Piper Aircraft as official dealer in Air Alpha Aircraft Sales, and since 2011 European Aircraft Sales has held the official dealership of Scandinavia, Finland, and the Baltics.
Bjarne has experience with every corner of the general aviation industry, and his clients benefit greatly from his enormous network of industry professionals, brokers, dealers, and manufacturers.
Bjarne builds his business relations on mutual trust and honest communication. He works tirelessly to make sure all agreements and deals are fulfilled to the highest standard, and many clients proudly call him a friend.
With more than 10 years of experience in the aviation industry, Kristian Larsen brings a unique combination of operational and commercial expertise to his role as sales manager. Before transitioning into aircraft sales, Kristian spent 8 years as a commercial airline pilot, flying Boeing 737 and 787 Dreamliner all around the world.
After having accumulated more than 5200 flight hours in commercial aviation, a role as demonstrator and technician in the drone industry gave him great insight and connections in the field surrounding general aviation and airports around Europe. Moving from there to his position as sales manager at European Aircraft Sales was a natural step for him, and he has quickly become a valuable and respected member of the team since joining in 2024.
Today he flies both single-engine piston and turboprop aircraft, primarily spending time in the cockpit of the Piper M700 Fury.
Kristian’s hands-on experience, paired with a deep understanding of aircraft performance and operational requirements, gives him a valuable perspective when advising clients. Whether advising first-time buyers or assisting experienced operators, his goal remains the same: to ensure every client feels confident, informed, and supported throughout the entire process.
Starting his flying career back in 2008, Joakim Waismaa brings a broad and diverse aviation background to the team. His expertise includes being certified as a flight instructor on piston and turbine airplanes, TMGs, and gliders, and serving as a flight examiner for TMGs and gliders. An interesting fact is that he is the youngest senior examiner ever appointed in Finland.
Living and working in Vaasa, Finland, Joakim is the face of European Aircraft Sales in Finland and northern Scandinavia, and as such he speaks both Finnish, Swedish, and English.
Having flown more than 40 different aircraft types, Joakim continues to fly for pleasure, while also doing instructions and examinations professionally. His interests include aerobatics in both gliders and powered aircraft, as well as glider towing, and he has accumulated more than 1200 flight hours.
Before aviation became his full-time profession, Joakim worked as a development manager in engineering for a large public technology company, and he still draws on that technical foundation in his daily work. After that he also worked with organizations and regulatory compliance for an aviation consultancy. He has strong expertise in aviation regulations, supported by his role as a member of the EASA Flight Examiner Manual Task Force.
All clients benefit from Joakim’s extensive flying experience, his knowledge of rules, regulations, and aviation requirements, as well as his meticulous, detail oriented, and precise method of handling business.
After beginning his career working in advertising, Jakob Lyngbo joined European Aircraft Sales in 2018 and has been dedicated to telling stories and connecting people with aircraft and aviation ever since.
Being an avid photographer, both at work and in his pastime, Jakob is passionate about the visual aspect of communication, and spends a lot of time producing, editing, and designing photos, videos, and visual material for the company.
Besides photography and video, Jakob possesses strong language skills and is trusted to write and proof-read everything from specifications and brochures, to contracts and legal documents.
Preferring the backseat of an aircraft to the pilot seat, Jakob makes his expertise in storytelling envelope all aspects of aviation. He makes sure to communicate the information necessary for both pilots and passengers, from the operational and technical data on the aircraft, to the comforts and advantages of private aviation as seen from a passenger’s perspective.
Jakob considers himself a happy passenger, holding no pilot’s license of his own, and while he enjoys flying, he concentrates on telling stories and documenting, while Bjarne, Kristian, and Joakim pilot the aircraft.
Charlotte Werenberg Pedersen is in many ways the glue that holds European Aircraft Sales together. Her keen eye for detail and her strong organizational skills make her an invaluable asset to the company and to all clients working with us.
From carefully drafting all contracts and legal documents, to bookkeeping, planning, and structuring meetings and travel schedules, Charlotte keeps a clear head and a tight grip on all parts of the business.
With a background in diverse fields, including both the high-end furniture industry and organizing events in relation to teambuilding and professional level match-racing, she has developed an impressive set of skills, that all benefit our clients and collaborators across the globe.
She is proficient in many languages, including English, German, and French, and keeps track on all communication within the organization, making sure that all ends are tied and that all transactions are done to the highest possible standard.
