About the PC-12/47E NG models
The PC-12/47E NG was introduced in 2008 and runs from s/n 1001 up until today.
With the PC-12 Next Generation, Pilatus installed the Honeywell Primus Apex avionics suite, an all-digital four-display glass cockpit with two PFDs and two MFDs. The Apex suite simplifies many cockpit chores and integrate lots of intelligent conveniences, such as being able to start up one MDF with one backup battery prior to engine start. This allows the pilot to enter a flight plan, look at weather graphics on the XMWX satellite system and get a clearance from the secondary nav comm radio.
Increased performance was also added with the PT6A-67P engine that delivers 15 % more thermodynamic power for faster climbs to a much higher altitude and boosting the max cruise speed from 270 knots to 280 knots. Pilatus continuously evolve their aircraft, therefore if you are buying their newest aircraft, it will include all previous improvements made to the PC-12.

The benefits are real: takeoff distance at maximum gross weight is reduced by 48 ft (14.6 m), time to climb to altitude is shortened by 10%, cabin sound and vibration levels have been lowered considerably, and propeller life cycle maintenance costs are reduced.
- CONFIGURATION: Almost 80% of all PC-12’s are configured in the Executive layout. Other options are Commuter, Cargo or Medevac.

You get power and capability usually reserved for “Big Iron”, but tailored for intuitive operation by the single pilot.
